Welcome to Episode 6 of the Ask Darrel podcast. In this episode, we talk about what to look for when bringing in volunteers who don’t have experience.
Today’s question comes from Nathan Holder:
What do you look for in a volunteer when they don’t have experience?
Listen to the Audio
Nathan’s question is great because this is an area that most church leaders don’t put a lot of thought into. Nathan’s original question was around “tech experience”, however I think the same principles apply to anyone trying to find volunteers (especially in church communications). There are three core areas to focus on when trying to find volunteers. However, in this episode I will not only tell you what three things you need to look for, but also what is the major key ingredient that will lead you to finding the right volunteers.
