Last week, I decided to take this website back to zero. This means taking all the previous content offline. I have plans to repurpose some of the content for a project that Katie Allred and I are working on.
However, I thought I would go ahead release the content in a format that could be used by anyone. Why? Well, I don’t see my content as something that needs to be protected and if it can help anyone else, than I want it in their hands.
So starting today, you can download this entire site archives as an xml file. You can then set a up a WordPress site, import them and use them however you’d like. Or you can just open up the xml file in your favorite text editor and view them. This xml file contains all of my blog posts (over 350 posts), as well as few drafts that I never published.
You can also download all of my podcast, Ask Darrel as well. Just the like the blog posts, you can use these however you’d like.
(Full disclosure, I came across this idea from Leo Babauta from Zen Habits. You’ll notice the similarities in this blog post.)
Now a couple of other things to keep in mind.
I release my copyright on this content.
You’ll never need to email me for permission. Use it however you want! Email it, share it, reprint it with or without credit. Change it around, put in a bunch of Stars Wars quotes and attribute them to me. It’s OK.
Credit and payment
While you are under no obligation to do so, I would appreciate it if you give me credit for any work of mine that you use, and ideally, link back to this website.
That’s it. There’s no fine print. Just click the links below to download.
