I recently made commitment to try to blog daily on this site. However, I forgot one crucial element.
Shipping is hard.
To ship something on a continual basis is quite hard. On the surface it may seem easy to write a few words and then hit publish. But try doing it every day. Seth Godin does it and so does John Saddington.
I recently read that one of things that separates those who succeed from everyone else is there ability complete things. Now one can argue whether or not what they completed was good. But by completing something they in turn learn to how to follow through.
If I took an inventory of all my successful friends, I would say they are probably known for shipping things despite circumstances. What about the ones who don’t? Well, they’re hanging out in coffee shops talking about what might be.
Shipping is hard. Of course, if it was easy everyone would do it.
